The Application Engineer role centers on being a technical specialist for Autodesk design software relevant to the Architecture, Engineering, Geospatial, and Construction (AEC) industries, with an emphasis on Civil Engineering and Surveying.

This position provides both pre- and post-sale technical support to customers, acting as the primary technical resource during the sales process and training assistance after software acquisition. Working closely with Sales Representatives, you will develop and execute technical workflows relevant to our customers which may include customer meetings and site visits.

 Overnight travel may be necessary for on-site support and training, approximately 20%.



Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Autodesk AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) experience. Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Must have a working skillset of 7+ on a scale of 10 for these products.

Degree Required:  Master’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program or a Master’s of Architecture degree


The Jr. Interior Designer is responsible for providing design and technical detailing support to the project team. The position actively participates in project discussions, reliably completes assigned work, proactively seeks out additional ways to contribute, and builds agility with the organization, components and documentation phases of projects.


Requirements:

  • (1-5) years of experience as an interior designer/architect in a client services firm
  • Documents design and/or technical ideas generated by others
  • Revises documents under guidance of others
  • Generates ideas and provides general input to design
  • Assists in the preparation of presentations including drawings, models, presentation boards
  • Assists with product research
  • Assists with Construction Administration tasks
  • Acquires knowledge of building codes, construction budgets, project budgets and other professional practice issues
  • Acquires knowledge of project organization, components and documentation phases of a project
  • Builds agility with all software platforms required for project delivery
  • Assists in the development of FF&E specifications
  • Responds to, communicates, and supports a variety of tasks as requested by senior members of the team
  • Seeks out mentorship and continuing education opportunities for the development of skills and career

Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design:

  • Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign

  • Ability to quickly develop facility with:
